Truffle Hunt

Learn about how truffles grow, how dogs are trained to hunt, and help dig for truffles with a truffle forager and their dog! We’ve got truffled snacks - cheese, salami, hazelnuts and more, AND the possibility of a take home truffle! This is an unforgettable experience on a beautiful family farm just 45 minutes from Portland!

  • When:  February 1st, 2025

  • Duration:  10am - 1:00

  • Meeting location:  super secret! But near Scappoose, about 45 minutes from downtown PDX (details emailed upon booking)

  • Price: $200 per person                            

  • Group Size: 8 - 15 guests

  • Included: Forage with truffle hunters and their dogs on a private farm, delicious snacks, AND everyone should be able to take home a truffle (not always guaranteed, but very likely).

  • Dietary Restrictions:  Although we will do our best, due to the special nature of this tour, not all dietary restrictions can be accommodated; please email us for more information.

  • Private Groups Available: We can accommodate groups of 8+, message me for more details!

important considerations before booking

  • The experience takes place outside in the woods in winter in Oregon - guests need to be dressed appropriately for the weather, especially in boots or footwear that can handle muddy terrain.

  • This experience is off trail - the terrain will be uneven so guests with stamina, balance, or mobility issues may not be the right fit for this experience
